What Is Your Predicted Page Rank?

Google Page Rank update is round the corners and you might get a PR anytime. Every blogger is always concerned about his/her blog's Page Rank. It is a measure by Google which can tell you about how hard you work will get you back. Few days ago Blogging Tips.Com wrote an article on Page Rank Prediction. Kevin listed some tools which can predict your blogs Page Rank in the next update. The PR is predicted by the number of back links your blog has. You might not get a PR using that tool, if your blog has less than 100 back links. My 45 days old blog is predicted a PR 4 which is not bad. I could have tried for PR 5. You can use the following tools to check your blog's PR prediction:

1. iWebTool

2. PR Checker

3. Check Page Rank

For more you can read this blog post from Kevin on his blog called the Google Page Rank Tools.

What is your blog's predicted Page Rank? Is it what you expected?

Madhur, It happens sometimes. I gope you get a good PR this time.

Alex, I think 100 back links is what is a must for iWebTools to predict PR. But I think you will have some PR for your blog.

Shankar, Yeah it says 5 for you and most probably you'll get 5.

About rank: (from Amazon)

Leverage links. Web sites that are linked to from lots of other sites are often deemed more popular and get a higher ranking in search results. However, more important than the number of links is the quality of those links. Contact owners of other Web sites that score highly for key phrases related to your content, and ask them if they will provide a link back to your site. Make sure, too, that the content on your own site is properly linked together. Crawlers will often start with your home page and then follow links from there to other areas of your site. Therefore, if you fail to provide working links to all your pages, some of your content may end up unindexed.

Now who want link exchange?

Err.... I still get PR unranked for my blog here. Something working with my stats may be. I got a arround 13 PR6 people link to me and 25 pr4. But still no reaction from google...

Ken, I too tried for your blog. It seems there is something wrong with their calculation. They never show back links as 0. But for your blog they show like that. Maybe something wrong. Hopefully you will get a good PR.

IWebtool is claiming PR5 for my guitar blog but we'll see. It would be great especially since it has only been at this domain since April 7th.

@ K-Inthehouse, Yeah DBT contest has found me many readers. Im happy that another blog is sending me new readers. I have started reading few new blogs too. Its nice that you are predicted a PR5.

@ Robert, Oh PR5 is really good. You'll most probably get that if the tool says so.
